OKWU announces plans to break ground on new School of Business Building
Thanks to a donation from Chesapeake Energy, Oklahoma Wesleyan University plans to break ground on a new building - in honor of former Oklahoma governor Frank Keating - within the next month. The Keating Institute will house the university's school of business, which is slated to be re-named the Chespeake Energy School of Business.
The building will include multiple classrooms and offices for business faculty, as well as an ampitheater to host lectures from both professors and visiting guests.
The plans for the building are currently under development with local architect Scott Ambler, and the groundbreaking will occur as soon as the plans are complete.
