Ambler Architects

Central Middle School

This facility was built in the early 1920's as a school building in downtown Bartlesville.  It continued in use until it could function no longer and in 1993, the Citizens of Bartlesville overwhelmingly passed a bond issue that would renovate the entire facility.  Ambler Architects led the Team that transformed this old dilapidated structure into the beautiful facility it is today.

The building received a complete renovation of the building shell including new energy-efficient windows.  The Electrical, Plumbing and Heating and Air Conditioning systems were all completely replaced and the fire alarm and sprinkler system were installed to meet current codes .  Building stairways were enclosed and renovated to work well according to state and local codes.
